Stuck X Bolt Ejector Retaining Pin

Have an X Bolt 7mm-08 for which I am trying to remove the bolt ejector pin. I know the ejector needs to be pushed in while trying to remove the retaining pin, but am having a hard time maintaining pressure on the ejector while also trying to punch out the retaining pin.

Was wondering if anyone is aware of some type of ejector pin removal tool or DIY method for this 3-lug Browning bolt design that makes it easier to keep the ejector depressed while attempting to punch out the retaining pin?

I haven't had a Browning in my hands in a long time but if it has a through hole just drive the pin out. Your punch will hold the ejector in place.

So the ejector does not have to be depressed while punching out the pin?

The ejector does need pushed before driving out.

Take a case, slip it under the extractor, and push it over to compress the ejector. A third hand may be helpfull.
