I've been using this app for years. But do yourself a favor, write down all of the pertinent info on each of your rifles. I had a phone that simple died a few years back. I mean absolutely nothing...the parrot was dead, deceased, no more! Had to get a new phone and install everything. Fortunately I had some (but not all) of my photos and such in the cloud and was able to retrieve them. The next day I picked up a new phone, added the App, and pulled out my handy notebook full of my DOPE. Velocity, bullet data, scope height, etc. I grabbed my favorite rifle and was up and running in no time. Later that evening I entered all of the data for my other rifles in just a few minutes. No having to check velocities, measure scope heights, all of that nonsense. Had it all at my fingertips. Technology will fail you sooner or later. But the written word is there forever. Well, unless you lose it.

Been using Strelok for years. Currently keeping my S9+ because I have it already and no real reason to upgrade my phone. Plus my phone has an SD card and I store it there.

I do use the velocity bands for BC on the bullets I have that data for.

Little off of ballistics post ,and phones, apps etc.
Son and I trip to range yesterday . ELR type, my main gripe is how Bluetooth devices , trigger cam has taken a dump twice now, not even a year old, used once on his 338 Lapua, Sent it back,, used it yesterday on a 6 ARC, took another dump. Tried using Kestrel drop to record environmental data. Nothing, zip, zilch, nada. Tried two ballistics programs, some success. Some problems to sort out.

Did have good picture from Target Vision , at 1 Mile ,before wind blew camera down.

I guess I need a Bluetooth and WI Fi class for dummies, technology great when it works at home, or out in a pasture close to home, sure didn't work 110 miles from home yesterday, northern Ks.
