Straight 284 - H4831sc - 180 Hybrids

Been shooting the .284 for approx 4 yrs now. I'm at 54.5 gr of 4831SC and CRONOed new at 2830 at 60 degrees. I've shot from 40 to 95 degrees and have never have a hard bolt lift. I don't over pressure my cases and am on my 12th firing. I do anneal every time I shoot. My last barrel and cases gave out at 2600 rounds.

brxbrad,

What primer and what seating depth were you using for the 54.5 grains of 4831sc and 180 grain Berger Hybrids?

TIA,

Ken

Thank you for the info. I'm actually shooting a 7 RSAUM and have been wanting to try the BR2 primers. Forty thousandths off seems like a lot of jump but maybe I'll give it a try. My current set up is a 30 inch straight Brux with 0.195 FB.
