Store bought bullets for 30BR

I've got a 16 twist 30BR barrel comming shortly,,real shortly).. I understand the top bullets are from Bibs.. Short of ordering 1,000 of them, what are some store brands that have been used with acceptable results??

The chamber is set up with zero free bore with a Robinette reamer. 16 twist.. The gun will never see compitition, but will be used exclusively for targets.. Just me.. That way I'll always be in first place..

Berger, Sierra, Or any where else that I dont need to invest in a 1000 bullet order..

If you're looking for something to be a distant second place to a quality BR bullet, you have lots of choices: TNT's, Ballistic Tips, VMaxes, Sierra Varminters, etc, etc.

'Store' bullets that equal the performance of handmade BR quality bullets do not exist. I know that's not what you want to hear..but that's the hard truth.

The TNT's have shot pretty well for me, but I would give serious thought to the Berger 110's as well. The Bergers have been winning matches for some VFS shooters.

I've had good luck with Bergers,and, when fireforming, the 110A-maxes shot decently. Unfortunately, there is nothing like a custom to make things that much tighter. The BIB's were just more consistently small, and if you're really looking to make a run at competitive accuracy they're the only way to go.
Good luck when your rig gets put together. Plan on taking mine out with the next warm day.
