STOLLE TEDDY ACTION QUESTION ?

Hello , I have a friend that wants to sell a Stolle Teddy Action, are these still popular or not? About how much do you think there worth?

Thanks
Jerry

They are excellent and are sure not out of date. You need to have a smith check it out. The only thing I would worry about would be galled lugs from poor up keep. It can be repaired though if the price is right.

Butch is absolutely right. The Teddy is a great action. I have one on my heavy gun. In my opinion it is worth the same as a used Panda. I would not hesitate to purchase another one if it was well kept.

They haven't been produced in a while and are desirable. It is probably worth within a couple hundred of a new receiver only because it is used.

Jerry,,,they are a great action (like all Kelbly actions,,) the only dif. is the bbl tennon is longer than a Panda(same as Polar),,,so if you loose the interchangeability feature on bbls.....if you only have one action it is insignificant,,,,as others hav said,,,they are great and you cant wear one out,,,,,Roger

I would base it on a Panda price as they are no longer made. Remember it is heavier than a Panda and you might need to work to get it to LV weight.
