stolle-panda action worth

Fellow I knew in the gun club died a few years ago, and kids are going to sell some of his rifles. One is built using a stolle-panda action. LH bolt and port w/sbf. Caliber unknown. He was a gunsmith and built many rifles and did his own barrels too.

Any idea of worth? Even if for the action only.

If it is in good shape, I would think around $800

Is that is a complete gun? Just an action? If it is complete gun what kind of stock and the barrel will have the cal. and neck dia. there should be dies and bullets and cases to see what it is and they would normally go with the gun. and if he did his own work there will be reamers….. jim

My guess is with standard boltface.

For .308

small bolt face, but I will take another look to make sure. It is a complete gun, but much of the stuff has been sold off and reamers/dies are long gone years ago. Fellow was a big cast bullet competitor.

No markings on the barrels as to caliber/neck dia. Only one rifle has a designation, but not the Panda.

Ok, what is small? what is the year on the action ? It will be part of the serial number. Is the bolt spiral fluted?……. jim

Looks to be a .223 bolt face. S/N begins with 90, so 1990? spiral fluted bolt from the looks of the pic copy I have.
