As a former Highpower service rifle competitor, I bought this rifle only for the action to build myself an F-TR Class rifle, but decided to go another route after determining action not really suitable without added expense and now I need to get my money back. I know nothing about and have no interest in BR Competition. I was told this rifle was built for short range Ultimate Bench Rest (UBR) as you can see by the stock and barrel configuration. By the serial# (obscured by tape in the picture) the Stolle Panda action was made around 2001. Bought from an older fellow in West Virginia his wife was using in limited competition.
Single load. Barrel measures 21.75" and is 1 in 15 twist rate. I was told the round count under 500. Clean bright bore. I do not know the barrel manufacturer. Sticker on barrel may mean something to someone knowledgeable. "Glued in" action. No ejector PPC bolt face. Fiberglass Bench Rest Stock has minor but typical handling marks in the finish as seen in the pictures. No cracks or gouges. Crisp breaking Jewel trigger set at under 1 pound. Absolutely the lightest trigger pull I’ve ever expereinced so care should be taken with a chambered live round. Rifle is a fine piece of work. Turn key ready to work up a 6mm PPC load and head for the line. I have no ammunition and have not fired the rifle.
FFL transfer and shipment from Utah. I am 100% reliable and will work with any potential buyer on the details to our mutual satisfaction. Reasonable offers would be considered. Rifle is listed on Utah Gun Exchange but I've seen no interest and no other sale pending. As far as I can determine there is no local BR community in my area. More pictures available for interested parties.
