Over the years, we've had good, bad, and indifferent delivery. The worst offender has been USPS, with UPS a distant second. Also, USPS has been the most tedious to deal with when a snafu occurs. The best thing we've done lately is to sign up for the 'USPS Informed Delivery' service. That gets you an email showing the scans of MOST of your incoming mail and tracking numbers.

I concur , right now I am chasing them for my March scope delivery insured for $3K. I got the signature card on the door 2 days ago saying to pick it up at the office 14 miles away but they didn't have it yesterday or today saying that the driver has it but the driver didn't have it either. They are going to call me......

If usps scans it delivered thats a closed case. They wont listen to any evidence such as timestamped camera footage etc. it has happened to me quite a bit lately, but only on gun barrels for some reason. Its not like they are easy to replace right now and even if you insure them for $10k they wont pay- it was delivered is all they know

I absolutely despise the usps.

The good news ; I found the driver and he took the signature card and my phone number, found the scope, called me and delivered it about noon today. Very nice guy and he apologized for the delay and mix up.
The bad news ; he was just filling in for our driver that caused the mess.

Or maybe they delivered to the wrong house. Had that happen before.

Had a document package I shipped to a business. I was shipped overnight and required a signature. They claimed they never received it. Called the carrier and they claimed is was signed for by the receptionist. There claim was that if the driver could not read the signature, that this is the way they documented it. Cost me another ON shipment with a different company.
