Since it seems war story time I’ll contribute.
The VC, the NVA , never held a candle to the ROK marines. The real beauty of this was the ROK’s never spoke or understood a word of VietNamese. The ROK’s couldn’t care less. Very scary soldiers. Thankful they were on our side. Still scary decades later at a reunion. Whitehorse Division

This is a friend who I used to work with. He was shot down out of 5 different Chinooks. He told of flying several VC to base and having spooks throw a VC out at 5000 ft.
