Stockpile primers and powder

maybe all the suppliers like the huge profits they had a couple years ago, and it's flattened out again over the last 1-2 yrs. what better way to drive up prices again than to send out a notice here or there. now look what it is doing. makes fly fishing more appealing all the time........

Dave T,
Look at the big picture-
The legalized crooks in the district on the east coast tried to ban weapons/magazines etc of 9/94.
Another legalized crook getting his little head polished in the back room hiding from his super c_nt wife trying to make a name for herself.
The black, muslim, illegal immigrant on Penna Ave now will never mention assult weapons banning.
Look at the incompetent companies that are buying up manufacturer after manufacturer.
Serberus,ATK etc,etc.
Serberus Mgmnt owns Budweiser as of Aug 2011.
I'll make the statement that the management company will run the firearms industry in the ground but those will still have beer that kills more in one way or another surpassing firearms related incidents 100 fold.
Prices rise to put mom & pop out of business & make components so expensive most just say f_ck it.

Those who snooze loose!!
Those who snore loose more!!

rant off

Man! That is some twisted facts and tortured logic you got going there!! I really like this part:

"Prices rise to put mom & pop out of business & make components so expensive most just say f_ck it.

Those who snooze loose!!"

This hoarding issue is pushing me closer to saying fu-k it every day! Then all the hoarders at the matches can brag about how many years supply they have and all 3 of them can have a real nice match!

BTW, In-Bev owns Budwesier and Cerberus has no intention of running its firearms investment into the ground.

FryeGuy:

You must be reading my mind. The fly fishing in Colorado is starting to heat up and the BS on this thread makes me seriously contemplate if I want to waste my time trying to find and stockpile reloading components when I could be down in Cheesman Canyon stringing up a rod.

My Guru told me to understand the world I would have to follow the MONEY. Once I found the money source OR destination I should study him, her or them. For Obama's part he seems to be neither the source of the money or destination of the money associated with our hobby. And I use the word "hobby" loosely as I have many many thousands of rounds and materials stockpiled for "that rainy day", God forbid. Actually, that Black man doesn't really seem to be involved. It appears that he is "out of the loop" as they say. Don't forget the Prime "objective": FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Remember 911? Of course you do. Remember that guy on the White House staff that said Americans should stock up on batteries, food, water and "Duct Tape". Now I always have at least three rolls of that stuff around at any given time but I never considered it a survival equipment/supply. Duct Tape? WTH? Said I and I filed that under the "things that pols say that make little sense. I did note that there followed a shortage in the supply of the tape shortly there after and nobody could keep it in stock. Wonder? 8 months later the subject was visited in a documentary about emergency profiteering and it turned out that a large contributor to the W campaign, one that owned many companies, was a primary manufacturer of .... wait for it....you guessed correctly....Duct Tape. His profits soared and he took in unexpected millions. Rush said "if you don't know why you need it around in a emergency then me explaining it to you won't do you any good" and he hung up. I bought two surplus mil rifles at that time. so you can't call me no Boob.

Just say'n,

John

Know a guy that had over 300,000 primers when the first shortage and ban hit, he made out like a fat rat. I personally keep around 30,000 primers and an ample supply of powder, brass and projectiles on hand not for emergency but I may not be able to buy later. Bought some odd assault rifles before the Clinton era (FNC carbines), you do the math with todays current interest rates.

It's simple. You can choose to be prepared or you can be the guy walking into the fun store every week asking 'what happened to all of the primers?'

I was a Boy Scout :)

kelbro,
It is simple, but apparently some missed riding in the short bus-also.

Up here,we don't have the option of paying the HazMat fee & shipping by ground or air.
Freight forwarders is the only option-another in the equation seeking a hand out!!

Fly fishin-
Awesome, but I have to wait 5 months to wet a line for North Slope Arctic Char.

VV550 is sold out pretty much every where I've looked.
6.5mm Lupa Scenars are starting to get thin as well.
lady at midway said they only had 41 boxes.
..they dont have 4100 any more.....
