CCI BR Primers

Is CCI even in business anymore. I haven't even seen a post about CCI BR primers, let alone any for sale. I can't believe the BR primers are being snatched up by the commercial reloading companies. WTH is going on! No Alliant powder, no Hodgons, that I use, no bulk 22 or 9mm, trap clubs going out of business, rifle shooters have quit shooting. And, I keep hearing the component and ammo companies are working 27/7....... I don't believe it!

These items are available though expensive. Never used CCI primers as I have and always use Federals and Winchester.

They do come up from time to time. The last notification I received for BR 4 primers was on Sept 14. It seems like they come in batches where I get several notifications for the same primer around the same time from different vendors. Right now, I'm getting quite a few pings for 205Ms which were missing for a long time. If you're near N Idaho, I can do a trade.

I get notices about CCI SPP about once a week, maybe twice.

BR2's and BR4s are higher cost and complexity to manufacture and lower demand, therefore lower margin than 300, 400s 450s, etc

You can't even find hunting ammo these days.

Highest profit margin is from (1) 9mm, 223, and 308 loaded ammo (2) SPP primers and way down the list is hunting ammo and BR primers.

Ammo / primer amnufactuers don't exist to supply all demand. They exist to make money. And there's way more money to be made in other market segments.

I got four bricks of BR4 primers about a month ago, got two bricks of 205M's last week
9lb of H4895 and 12lb of RL15.5 recently, you have to be lucky with quick trigger finger

It's getting easier. There's a lot more time now. Back in spring, one error in checking out and it was too late.

SRP's have been trickling out for awhile. LRP's and especially
the CCI BR2's are still "NADA" !! Natchez just put out 2 lots
of Federal LRP Champions. I was lucky enough to get a brick.
Much needed for fire forming. Mat have to invest in Hydro-
forming if this keeps up.
