Would be nice to know the material it's made from? i.e. to determine it's coefficient of friction properties. If it's just a film of generic plastic to protect the stocks' cosmetics....it would not be any benefit to competitive shooters.
Well, on my few "competitive" competition guns, this tape works great and is beneficial with the slick bag material. I can understand that at a time before the bag technology advanced with the slick material that Edgewood, Protektor and the type SEB uses, that worrying about friction coefficient properties of stock tape could keep some shooters up at night. But now that that has been worked out, I'm sure they are overthinking something else instead of shooting and practicing.
