Those of you who have several coats of clear on your laminated stock bench guns, do you use the teflon stock tape?
Thanks,
Ken
How is the glue on your finish if you remove the tapeUHMW polyethylene is a better choice than Teflon. It has nearly the same friction coefficient but is much more abrasion resistant.

Hyde offers several different glue backings for different purposes. They have a description of each on their site. I've never removed any and don't know. How is the glue on your finish if you remove the tape

I ended up buying the 23-FEP cast teflon film from CS Hyde. I like it better than the UHMW tape, but it is a little more spendy.
Thanks for adding . I will order some. Complete, on order.Hi All,
We added a 5 Pack, of the 5x5 UHMW Tape to our website for you guys.

However it is a bit thicker- 20 mil. (0.020)
We wanted to see what you all think? and how it works out for you guys?
If anyone would like a free sample please me directly.
Would be nice to know the material it's made from? i.e. to determine it's coefficient of friction properties. If it's just a film of generic plastic to protect the stocks' cosmetics....it would not be any benefit to competitive shooters.http://www.killoughshootingsports.com/index.php/shotmaster-10x-stock-tape.html
This is the thinnest, clearest stock tape available, period.
