Stock screw torque settings ?

What are the correct stock screw inch/pounds settings for a Remington 788 .222 ?

I use 45in/lbs on the front and 3 on the back. Not sure there is a spec because the wood the stock is made of can change the optimum setting, as can bedding. If it's pillared properly, I don't think torque is nearly as critical but it still matters. If you think about it, wood swells. So your setting today may be somewhat more or less tomorrow with wood. Another factor in tune that you'll probably never see in a hunting rifle but you might in a comp rig.

I thought 3 was a little light . I was thinking..... 3 is not even finger tight .
