Stock recommendations for F/TR

How heavy a barrel are you running Jim? Do you detect any flex in the forend?

I am using a Heavy Palma taper fluted. I see/feel no flex at all.

Quick update -

As usual, Jerry is right. It must have something to do with his extensive experience.

I gave up on the parallel bag rider on my F/TR junkyard dog. Having the rear bag fluffed inconsistently and squeezing the bag was giving me vertical late in a string. I just couldn't do it consistently. If I had a finely adjustable bipod, things might be different.

I went back to running the tapered bottom of the stock on the bag and I'm getting better scores (1-2 points) because I'm able to better center the group at the end of the string. My worst enemy right now is my left hand - I have to teach myself not to touch the bag!
