Stock options or solutions

What action are you using? If it has 3 action screws the middle screw is not needed. You can open the stock up to facilitate removing the trigger in a glue in. Either use a one hole trigger guard or just cut the screw short and put a nut on the back side to fill the opening on a 2 screw guard.

Even on stocks I just bed, I still open the trigger mortise enough so you only have to remove the trigger guard to drop the trigger out. Single hole guards are used, bedded or glued. Even if its bedded your better off leaving it together to change the trigger or barrel for that matter. Especially when in a rush on the line, thats a sure way to ding up a bedding job. Even when bedded, I tell guys to treat them like a glue in.

100 % on point as usual Alex!
I remember being told many years ago by a well known BR gunsmith that his main reason for doing glue-ins was to keep the owners(tinkerers) from screwing up the bedding.

The 30br Panda that I posted load workup on is not glued in. It shoots as good as any of my glued in guns, including a 6bra Alex built for me. Alex built (and bedded) the 30br years ago.

When I say shooting good, it aggs in the mid ones five shot groups at 100 yards.
I think I might just have it bedded, but I’ll still mill it out so I can get to the entire trigger hanger.

I currently have a late 80's version Teddy in an original Lee Six stock for my current incarnation of the 30
and it will also Agg in the 1's if I do my part. (Hard to do here in the Ione Triangle!) It still has shot the smallest group I've ever shot at 100 yds, a nice very round .024. that 5th shot was tough!
