stock for custom 6mmBR

I'm thinking about converting my Rem 700 ADL 22-250 into a 6mmBR instead of just accurizing the 22-250. I want to use the 6BR for coyote hunting (both carry and long range shooting with a bipod), shooting prairie dogs and bench rest target shooting. I've got some good idea on barrels and gunsmith, but don't have any idea on which stock to put on it.

What would you use for a new stock???

Thanks.

If you are going to Carry the rifle MORE than shoot it I would recommend the Hi-Tec as it is SUPER lite as well as strong--for a heavier rifle the H-S Precision with a bedding block is as good as any.

Neither one of these were made for true Bench Rest shooting as the shape of the forends but they can be shot off hand/or bipod and carry very well.

Good Luck

I would probably choose the McMILLAN BR-50. It's got the forend you'd need for bench rest, you can add a sling swivel stud to the forend for a bipod mount (a detachable style using a counter sunk stud sling swivel base ) and it isn't as heavy as some other moulded stocks, it's very strong, and very durable.
When I first became interested in bench rest my 6R was mounted in the BR-50. As my interests expanded and I got involved with prone shooting I set the stock up for the bipod and it worked very well.

The Mcm Hunter class is one of the best combo stock I have used.
