Stock..does anyone have this stock???

Looking to get info on this stock. does anyone have one or know of someone that has used it. Looks good. I just bought a Rem 700 action with a 308win 26" Dogulas #7 S/S Target barrel and will be using it mainly of the bench killing paper and for varmit and pdogs maybe once or twice a year. Any help woud be great. Or do you have suggestions of another laminated stock

Is stockys out of stock on these? If they are call bobby hart in pennsylvania. He can tell you all about them.Afreind of mine shot a rifle with one on it and said it was real comfortable and well made. He shot a deer at 577 yds with ine I believe.

I have that exact stock with a R700 .308VS stuck in it. I'm very happy with mine, nice quality. The rounded fore end doesn't lend itself to bench shooting that well, you will need a track plate to keep it from rolling around. But with a bipod, shooting from a bench or prone is very comfortable with this stock. The thick butt pad and vertical grip let you get it all snuggled up to your shoulder nice, which makes the recoil a lot more manageable.

I really couldn't tell about the forend of the stock for bench shooting..whould like a stock like this with the CNC bedding with a flat forend for the bench. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks for your response.

I have two of these stocks one in short action and one in long action for prone shooting with a bipod I love them they are very comfortable. The front forend is rounded just perfect for mounting bipods to.

From what I understand, these stocks are made by Revolution. On Revolution's website they have a pic of one with a flat bottom, but according to inquiries made with Stocky's, they don't make them. I haven't gotten any answers from Revolution, why would they show it on the site but not make it? It would be great if they did, especially at the price point of the Hart version. $300 with the aluminum block and all that, you can't beat it with a stick.

I wanted one for my new Stiller Predator 6.5x47 build. (action is a 700 clone) Instead I got a Shehane Tracker 2 and installed a Whidden V block in it myself. A good result, but MUCH more expensive.

Looks like they call it the Long Range..will have to call them and check it out..if I find out anything will post. What did your stock and V block cost and how hard was it to install?
