Stiller Viper Surface Finish Question

On a Stiller Viper, with the gray/silver finish action, the finish has a few lighter splotches that almost seem to have a light gray look. Does anyone know how to address this to make those splotches disappear?

That is hardcoat anodized. The only way to fix it is to reanodize, strip it and polish it, or cerakote it (i cant recommend this option if you like it smooth). Id just learn to live with it or sell it if it was me

What Dusty said. Stiller did hard anodize his aluminum Viper actions. It makes for a durable surface, but difficult to do cosmetic repairs on.

Note an example of the finish/the blemish around the bolt cut out area. This is my concern.

Just typical hardcoat. Theres nothing you can do to rescue that coating just modify or refinish it

Clearly a bad finish, likely causing the action to be unsafe. Send it to me and I will make sure it stays safe. Really.
