Stiller Viper for a 6.5-284?

Hi all

As I search every last make of action possable, it seems that any custom action will fit the bill!

Now, to choose between them, I have facted in cost and accessories and Stillers line of actions really smile here.

They are competive actions... so now the choice from his range...

The caliber is the 6.5-284.

The Python seems to be the way to go... but with its length I dont really see it going into a Tracker stock.

So the Viper for a 6.5-284...? Thoughts

THe python is a beast and larger than needed for the 6.5.

I too found the Viper the BEST deal when considering price per quality.

dont forget, that price included trigger guard and rings

What have you heard about the mcmillan St1000F fibreglass Shehane tracker? Good... or the laminated wood better?

Just thinking for the future here... if I rechamber it to something else..

What contour barrel is on that rifle... Max HV?

Barrel is a kreiger #17 maxed for williamsport,0.950 at 29") instead 930 or 940 that the contour calls for.

Dont know of the stock you speak, the one in the pic is a tracker MBR from SHehane.

Contrary to convention, i bedded mine about 3" ahead of the recoil lug:

I like the flashy gelcoat glass stocks, but wood is no problem if that is what you like.

I havent seen a quantifiable difference except wood, EVEN LAMINATE has the propensity to WARP!
