Stiller predator actions

Never owned one, never handled one. I am planning out a light hunting rifle, LA, magnum. I am considering a predator, but I wonder how they stack up to others in the price range? How is the primary extraction? Bolt timing with a jewel trigger? I hate the extraction cams on a stock 700. It does concern me that they dont make the bolts, seems like you could get everything timed better if you made your own bolts, but I may be wrong.
Thanks.

I have a single shot 6BR built on a PredatorV (RBLP) that I have used for hunting pronghorn and deer. It functions perfectly -- very smooth, with a ~0.003 bolt-to-raceway clearance appropriate for a hunting rifle. No issues with primary extraction, great handoff to the Jewell. Shoots great with 95gr BIBs and Berger VLDs (see attached 300yd target).

If I were building a RBRP repeater strictly for hunting I would think about a Kelbly Atlas in addition to the Predator.

I have one like Toby PredatorV (RBLP). mine is a 223 Rem. Put a HVR Jewell and a good tube, you will set for life .. Tommy Mc Good Shooting.

I have a repeater on a 22-250AI and my son has a his and hers 300WinMag built on 2 of them. He had a Kelby Atlas and traded it off. He is a very knowledgable rifle builder, learned personally from Speedy. Rayan Pierce(Ryan Pierce Custom Rifles) is or was having a sale on Stillers. I bought mine 2 weeks ago for $925.00 that included a pinned Pic. Rail.

I have the one up for sale in the classifieds. I can honestly say they are VERY nice for a repeater hunting rig. I prefer BAT actions for bench but for hunting rigs I like the stiller Predator

Stiller does make his own bolts, it's why you haven't seen one of his Viper drop ports in three or four years, were all waiting on him to finish the bolts! and he won't let anyone else do it! I have a Predator in a 6*284 I don't have an ejector on it, it is a rblp I used it in 1000 yard bench rest a few years ago and it extracted flawlessly I have a P1000 Stiller that also works perfectly.

I have a Predator in my back up bench gun it's just a single shot but it's nicer than I would've figured. It's nothing like a Bat but is real nice. I'm gonna build a 22 Dasher on one in a repeater here sometime soon.

I have the Predator in 300wm and like it. It will probably get demoted to hunting rig when I get more experience and upgrade will most likely be a P1000 or a Bat action...

i have 3 predators in use and one being made. if you order several, you get a nice discount. all my rem 700 extraction cams are a mess but the stillers are perfect. my main shooting is varmint and paper and my two 22 BRS and one 6 BR will shoot in the twos regularly and often in the ones/zeros. the coned bolt predator V is just plain sweet.

Not to hijack the thread but what is the diameter of the bolts used in the Predator actions? Thanks!

The one for your new fclass rifle measures .7025. I do still have them on sale for 925 shipped with 20 moa rail. I don't have any magnum bf's though. Heres a list of what I have left:
2 Tac 30 308 BF repeater
1 Pred sa 308 BF repeater
1 Tac 300 308 BF repeater
4 Pred la 308 BF repeater
