Stevens 22-410 barrel selector

I have a Stevens 22-410 (1947 model) that the side mounted barrel selector wore out and was fixed by installing a new hammer with selector in the hammer. This was done many years ago and works fine. I see on Numrich arms they have a kit to replace the side mounted selector. Have any of you done this conversion or have knowledge about it. I would like to make it original if possible. Thanks, Barlow

I had the same thing done to one I have.... seems like the side selector is easily broken.I am interested in hearing how your conversion goes. Great old guns very acurate for what they are. Good luck on yours. Matt
