my local gun shop has a couple of these scopes in 4-20-50 for what seems like a good price ($800). Never had a Steiner product just wondering how these scopes stack up to the vx 3 or something in that price range. Thanks everyone

Steiner is better glass than whatever you're comparing it to.

They have tons of eye relief. I have a 2-10x44 on a 45/70. And a 4-16 on a 50bmg. I don't think they are German made but the glass seems good for the money.
Mine were both demos at $600

I had the chance to look through a GS3 and I thought the glass was much better than the price suggests.

All other features were subjective and $800 is what most places try to sell them off at after no one bites them for $1,000
