The problem with steel at the range, you may or may not hear the impact. I have sometimes saw the steel move, but depending on wind, not heard the impact.

Ps, it is my experience for whatever reason, the 77 smks stabilize easier than the 75 amax. My rifle does not like the 75 amax...(24" kriegered AR)

a horn 75 amax has a light weight tip which significantly adds to LENGTH...
try the 75 match and the sie 77......
i would pass on 68/69 for 600 unless i could not find anything else that worked....

I shoot them on top of 25.8g of Benchmark and they shoot extremely flat and accurate. Its a hot load so SLOWELY work up. I havent tried the 77g MatchKings, but I would definitely give them a try if you are gonna shoot in 600 yard matches. Good luck.

53 grain bullet and 26 grains of benchmark as max load on the Hodgens website. Yes I know its not the same exact bullet. The rifle has a 26 inch barrel and it has a very deep throat so the COAL is 2.34" just touching the lands. I been reloading the same Lapue brass many times with this exact load and my primer pockets are fine. Zero signs of pressure.
ar10ar15man said:do you realize that you posted a load that is probably unsafe in most guns ?/
do you realize that 2.34 is a MERE 090 LONGER THAN STD ///
THAT WITHOUT MENTIONING THE OAL YOU LEAVE OTHERS OPEN TO DANGER ??

He told me that walnut media was no good and I must use corn cob. I would venture to say I've been shooting since before he was in diapers. And he has been selling brass for 6 WHOLE years so he must know it all.

Did you not see where I put SLOWELY work up in BRIGHT RED LETTERS?????? Maybe some rifles wont shoot this load, but thats why I put SLOWELY work up. I have read several of your post the past 2 months and all you do is attack what others do and how they do it. You sure like to point out what other do and how they do it wrong and you can do it better. I have seen several topics the past 2 months where you attack my fellow forum members and pissed them off. You should just leave this forum and dont come back. Dont respond back because I truly dont give a crap about your BS
