I use Varget for my .308. Being it's a 1:10 and I shoot it normally from 300-600 yards I usually use the 175 SMK'S and the 168/178 gr. A Max
Did load development in 1/2 gr increments and found a large window of accuracy while one did stand out as better, the others weren't too bad. The 175smk is better on paper but they all ring the 8 " gong consistently at 600 yrds. good luck.
