starter load for 6BR

just wanted to say great sight for good info on reloading. Have a question I could use some help with. I'm going to try viti135 powder and would like an idea for a starting load? The gun is a custom 6mmBR with a 1-9 twist and 24'' length the action is a bat model m rplb. I have been shooting varget and someone told to try this powder but I can't find any starting loads. The bullet will be a 95gr something not sure what to try yet. thanks for your help. ike

Judging by Vihts data using the 90gn Silver Scenar I would quesstimate you''ll be hitting book max at roughly 30gns. Gotta throw a bunch of salt in the pot with my questimates.
Questimated starting load of 26.0.

Dwight: Check out this sites 6BR info page. A lot of excellent loads listed/ every one that I've tried has been a winner. Hodgdon also lists a lot of loads for the 6BR in their Loading Manual. 30 grains of N135, Federal 205M primers with the 80 gr. Berger flatbase bullet #24321 is one of several favorites in my Krieger barreled 8 twist. For the Berger 95 gr. VLD, #'s 24427 and #24527, 31 and 31.3 grs. of Varget with CCIBR4 primers is the favorite in both the Krieger barrel and the 8 twist Hart. A lot of excellent loads out there/ have not run across a bad one yet.
