Started working up loads for my new 6x284

Soon I'll post a picture. Rem 700 Sendero 30" brux bbl 8" twist. Just today 53grs of Re#22 behind Sierra 107gr MK( Touching the lands) produced average MV of 3390 FPS. Under 1/2 MOA at 139 yds in windy NV desert conditions. Gunsmith did a flawless chambering job. Ejects each case like they want to fall out ? Former chamber same caliber camming the bolt open each time there was a glitch.

Man, that is great to read. I remember ya had your heart set on one of those and I can't blame anyone for wanting a 6-284 at least a time or two in their life. I enjoyed both of mine.

If you have any N560 you might want to give it a try under those 107's too. ;) WD

I thought of using that powder. Others have had great performance with Re#22 ,my 7 WSM loves Re#22 so I bought a 5lb kg of the stuff, so no concerns over lot variations for a while.

Glad to see you are up and running. In my experience with RL-22, in 243, 25-06, 7RM, and 300WM, it does not like temperature swings, but it was always accurate.

A couple of previous 6-284's love 7828, current one runs H-4831-SC with the 107's at 3325 in a 26" tube.
