Standard Shell Holder Spacer?

I would like to add a spacer, about 3/4" to 1" high, between the reloading press ram and the shell holder. The bottom of the spacer would look like a standard shell holder bottom, and its top would look like the ram top to accept a standard shell holder.

Does anyone know if such a spacer is available?

I could suggest you order a Special order catalog from RCBS, but that has never worked before,.

The extended shell holder is used with the Gold medal and Competition dies, The 30/06 die set can be used with the 308 W cases. I do not use the sizing die, I only use the the seating die.

Forgive, do not forget to scroll, the extended shell holder is not confined the 308w-30/06.

RCBS extended shell holders come in different lengths. Used for .223 and .308 size cases. (And lots of stuff inbetween) The "Compitition" die set (in .223) works for .221 Fireball on up to .223 and longer. It's just a matter of switching shell holders.
Swap the guts in the seater die to just about any caliber you can think of. I've use mine for 20 VT, 20 VT"short", .221 Fireball, .223, .243, .270, 6.8 SPC, 6.8 BR, 22BR, 6BR, .308, 30.06 and a few others as needed.

I had emailed Redding and RCBS, and Redding replied right away, but nothing from RCBS, yet.

In my email, I had actually asked them for a generic spacer, such that any shell holder could be used with the spacer. Redding replied that they did not make one, but failed to say anything about the extended shell holders you just brought to my attention. These extended shell holders, whether Redding's or RCBS's, both of which I found after reading your posts, will do what I need.

I searched a bit further, and just found that Hornady has a 'Universal Shell Holder Extension', No. 392171 that can be used with any shell holder.
