Confessed Skips Shim user also. I can bump in 0.001" increments which I feel is necessary for competition while working brass to absolute minimum which is becoming increasingly valuable with todays brass prices and availability. I never found it a problem to unscrew the die a few times to get the precise headspace I want- H/S being base to shoulder datum measurement. Reloading isn't a race.
