I like my tumbler but the factory hardware is weak. First upgraded one tub to SS wing-nuts and then got the a set set of the 1/4-20 brass thumb nuts. The brass are a little easier to work with.

You can order a set of Fluted Drum Knobs from the factory for $5.95 plus shipping which for my order was $1.25 for First Class postage. They really work nice.

Well back to the OP... i added some acetone to the tumber water and tumbled again for 20 min.... checked it... and that was the cleanest brass ive ever had... rinsed the tumbler back out too... i dont like an acetone solution on rubber too long... no tellung if itd eat it... im gonna get some simple green and see how that works too... acetone worked perfect but i just dont want it to eat away inside the tumbler...

for my first time tumbling (got the tumbler for Christmas) I decided that if I was going to tumble them right after full length sizing, I simply skipped using my normal imperial sizing wax and used the dish soap as case lube. The soap is a little runny compared to the wax but, there was no sizing issues using the soap. Once I finished sizing I placed the cases in the tumbler added a touch more soap and lemishine.

finished tumbled product is good to go.

the one thing I did do was to thoroughly clean out my die to remove any soap as I am concerned the soap might cause the die to rust.
