Stainless Steel Beakers in Ultra Sonic Cleaner

It is my understanding that SS beakers work better than glass and much better than plastic in ultra sonic cleaners. Been looking for some...THEY ARE PRICEY!!! So...would just plain small SS mixing bowls work as well? Or are they too thick? Or dosen't material thickness matter? I haven't looked, but the Dollar stores might have cheap thin ones available.

I put mine directly in the basket and not in beakers, but then I only use water, vinegar and a drop of soap.

hmm...i have some stainless beakers laying around here I might give a go. I work at a small pharma company, in validation, so anything (equipment wise) comes and goes by my word......and we cycle through a LOT of stuff...right now I have a bunch of VWR beakers in various sizes I've been using (mostly the 1000mL)...but I have some 200mL that I use for my suppressor parts to use in "dip"....i'll grab some stainless ones today, though
