Stable 7mm chambering

I am looking to build a 7mm for elr/ hunting. Going to be a new build, and am not scared of wildcats. I will build a heavy 28"+ barrel and a 26" carbon for the rifle. I am trying to find a grown up version of the 6br case design to push the 180-195 at 2900 fps+. I want it to mag feed. Seems like the 7 saum is a good candidate. I am trying to find good brass, ideally not have to do too much work to the brass. Not necessary, but a bonus if it runs cool, as I am not super patient.
I currently shoot a 280ai, and dig it, but having trouble getting it stable enough to maintain 1k plus yardage. My sd/d esnes want to stay low, it has a thin barrel that heats quickly, and a 1-9 barrel that eats bc off of my bullets.

Trying to push that heavy of a bullet at those speeds perhaps not necessarily a wildcat, but a proprietary cartridge is more in line of what your looking for.
Something in the form of the 7.21 Tomahawk.

Rebarrel it.

Yup, the 7mm Saum or, better yet,.. the 7mm-.270 WSM in a single stack Tikka action ! Easy to, load / make and, VERY accurate !
The Brit's and Canadians, love this one for, 1,000 yard, accuracy ! Buy a 1-8 or 1-8.5 TW Brux barrel and ENJOY !
Ask them about, the best TW for, the bullet YOU desire, they probably, know ! Best, buy / make up 2 Barrels tho, as any "Hot" 7 mm will only last, 800-1000 rds !
Try the New Temp insensitive and "Cooler burning" VhitaVouri,.. N-165 or, N-170 Powders, IF you can find, Data ! Laurie from, England ( who posts on here, quite often ), KNOWS all about, the Merits of THIS one ! Hopefully, he will, "Chime in" !

Keeping anything tuned well at 1k plus is constant work. No cartridge is going to change that. The 280 ai is a great one and its very accurate. Thats not your problem. However the 7 saum is excellent as well. Just know that to keep anything really humming at 1k is constant tuning. Just the nature of the beast.

Well that's a wet blanket on my fire to build more rifles.

You would be even more disappointed if you built another one because you were led to believe there was a cartridge that would shoot small groups at 1k day in day out without chasing the tune. But its fun, just learn to enjoy the challenge :)

I’ve just built a switch barrel in 264WM. 29” 1:8” Sendero contour and the other barrel in 7STW Sendero contour 26” 1:9.25”.
Will be using this to 1000 formerly, and up to 1600mtr (1 mile) informerly at rocks/steel.
Hoping these 2 tune easily.

Cheers.
