All in all the st.louis format is a great match by any reasoning.. Joe is a good director and competitor. I’m glad to see him in charge.
Any body that says running matches hurts your shooting is not doing it right!
I kept wondering if it was ever going to happen - - I have had numerous 199's at 600, and even at 1000, but the 200 had been elusive.
Perhaps, I thought, I need to switch to a 6mm (Dasher, BRX, BRA, TAC40...), but in the end the "200" (X2!) happened with my trusty 284W with the same barrel with which I had problems at Atterbury a few weeks ago. Clearly, nothing wrong with the rifle.
Still, I will be building a 6mm - primarily for 600 yards, as I still like the 284W for 1000.
Thanks again!
Alex
PS. I feel fortunate that I sure had a lot of excellent shooters to imitate, and from whom to learn!
