16.5 inch SS SSK, 338-06 JDJ Encore pistol barrel with built in muzzle brake. Includes set of dies ($200), 25 pieces of brass. Barrel has pistol foreend screw spacing but also legal rifle barrel.

Shoots 200 SST at 2350 with RL19.

Really wild case after fireformed.

I fired one round in an un-braked 10" TC 45-70. The owner said not to hold it tight and just let it buck. It went vertical or further back. I had a glove on and it still hurt.

I have 35-06 JDJ and 375-06JDJ
JD’s muzzle arrestor is VERY effective. Recoil isn’t that bad.

I have a 30-06 JDJ and I agree. Recoil isn’t bad, they’re very loud and all around fantastic modifications of a plain ol’ 30-06 case.
