Down to my last thou of Rem 7-1/2's . Should last till June when all the Crisis & panic buyers figure out there really isn't one . Guess I'll just get some of the Win Match primers to practice with , if need be .

Have you checked your LGS? The ones around me usually have them for sale by the 100 pack. Winchester, CCI's. They run $3.50-$4.50 per 100.

As you can see many of us veteran hand loaders keep a decent supply. Hopefully in the near future things will again improve. Learn from this experience and as your finances allow be prepared. Politics seem to have to greatest effect on supply. Back in the day; a thousand primers and an extra pound of powder, I thought I was living large. Today it is a whole new level of inventory. Not to hoard but to not have to worry, but even that has its limits. I like to be five years in front. In 08 it was primers, rimfire, and Clays, that were most difficult for me to obtain. I like to buy from the same local dealers and try to keep a good relationship with them. They kept me covered when others were not so lucky. Came close but never ran out, but made more than a few trips to the back room.

Powder valley seems to have 2 types of small rifle match primers at 52 bucks or 38 for federal.

You're gonna see a lot of these at gun shows when they start up again at stupid prices. Saw one guy with .22s advertising that they would banned so get them now! Still sitting on my stock of Tulas, they could fetch a good penny.

Unfortunately , yes . Right after we had the Cowboy Round-up shoot at BA , They were not to be had . Anywhere . Usually a primer not in excessive high demand in my area , but hey . Stuff happens . The Western Wildcat was just a couple weeks away , also . And that could have contributed to the shortage . BR shooters stocking up to load for their up-coming matches that also got post-poned . Checked all the small local GS and came up totally empty . But it was a good thought .
