Spray lube

I have 9mm brass with live primers and want to spray lube them to sizing, will the lube harm the primers if i do it in a ziplock bag

This is the way i do, shoot, decap, clean and then prime in front of TV with family during winter time. Then i have thousands of rounds ready to size and load all with perfectly seated primers when the season starts and yes i have removed the decapping pin in all of my calibers. But this time why i wanted to lube is because i found out that several of them had bulge that the carbide ring wont calibrate.
The way to go is to run them in a slightly shortened steel sizer to see if they will chamber so that is the reason of lubing:D

If you spray lube you will need to tumble or clean the lube out of the inside after sizing.
Tumbling primed cases doesn't sounds advisable because the primer hole can get plugged and it's mission difficult to get that cleared out with a primer not to mention the time to inspect every case.

As JDS Holler states, use a carbide die and skip the lube for your primed cases.

If you do use spray lube, be sure and clean your dies before and after using spray lube.
It does not mix well with other lubes or oils.
It will make a gunk that really is hard to clean. go ahead ask me how I know...

Something light like Ballistol can lube a 9mm case with very little. if you have some on your fingers, it will generally be enough for a short straight wall case to be sized and not get stuck. First case always need a little more, then it off to the races. Yes you get it on your hands but should work with latex gloves if that is a problem.

i deprime and size at the same time. why dont you do that and the sizing/deprime will be all done with the same number strokes of the press handle?? now your using double the strokes you need to. in 44magnum i use a carbide die and just lightly imperial lube once in awhile. it keeps a little lube in the dies and helps alot to make the sizing easier but doesnt contaminate the inside of the die so i dont usually have to clean outside or inside.

Back in pistol shooting days and loading on a Dillon, I always used lanolin/isoprol sprayed onto the cases in a bowl and stirred around before sizing. Made life easier, even though using carbide dies.

Test on a small batch first. Shoot the ammo. You'll have your answer.

What works for other people with their lube, method of application and make of primer might not work for you.

There is no need to lube pistol brass, other than because you want to if you use a carbide sizer. Neither the brass nor the sizing die lasts longer because of it.

I would spray a bit of lube in my bowl, then throw the cases in and shake them around to lube them. Little if any lube will get inside them. I do it all the time with royal case lube and no issues

I use a Dillon Square Deal B progressive press for my handgun ammo. I add an extra process because I'm OCD. LOL. I size, decap, trim and clean the primer pockets before going to the progressive press. I use a Lee carbide sizer in my co-ax press. I also tumble the fired cases in corncob media after firing too.

Hornady spray lube works great for that...But carbide pistol dies don't need the spray lube ... just pull the decapping pin and run through the Dillion press...works great on 9mm and 380 reject pulled
bullet primed brass. I buy thousands of reject primed brass, including primed 308, 300 blackout reject brass that has pulled bullets and must be resized..spray these with the Hornady spray lube...size in single stage wipe/roll clean in your favorite bath towel, add a little alcohol to dampen an area of the towel, roll em dry...Presto ready for the progressive loader and ya don't need primers...I disconnect the primer feed also.

I deprime, tumble in stainless chips, resize in carbide die (no lube needed), bell…then hand prime in front if the TV. Charge and seat and away we go…
