Spotting scope

We bought one as a gift once when it was on sale. Very usable to shoot steel. Table top tripod that it comes with makes it very easy to get on target. Pretty darn handy for the $130-$150 range we paid for it, glass snobs would probably give it a thumbs down.

I had one for a short time. For my purposes of shot spotting and mirage reading out to 600 in XTC and glassing elk in CO, I found a better low cost scope is the Celestron Ultima line. Excellent glass under $200. Its draw back is it does not have the rotating head but I made it work. I have used several Ultimas and all were superior to the Talos. Full disclosure I have moved up to the Regal ED but still in the Celestron family.
