No such thing as a good cheap optic. You can get good middle priced optics that probably will suffice for you. Often atmospheric conditions don't bode well for any scope

I bought this from a forum member a while back and never used it. It has a 20-40x eyepiece and focuses down to about 10 feet. It is in excellent condition and comes with the box, papers, felt bag and only the front lens cap. This scope is very small and lightweight and the optics are very clear...

Good spotting scopes dont come cheap and cheap spotting scopes will frustrate you at the range. I have had my 82mm Kowa since mid 90s. Its still as clear as day 1 gives up nothing to newer spotters that show up on the range.
