Spotting scope??

I need to get a good spotting scope and could use some help. The majority of its work will be for hunting so I want a 65mm objective lens, angled eye piece, and under $1500. I have found some used scope bodies with an attractive price, just no eye piece. Are the eyepieces interchangeable? Can I use a Zeiss in a meoptia? And vice versa? Do I have to stick with the manufacturers eyepiece? I don't have the opportunity so look through any glass here, everything must be ordered. Thanks for any and all help.

Pretty slow response, I know, but I don't look here very often. If I were looking for something in your specifications, I'd go with the Kowa TSN 66mm Angled Spotting scope with ED glass for $1020 from Bear Basin. Add the 20-60x eyepiece for another $385 and you'd have a scope that's as good as anything comparable and better than most for $1405 + shipping. Here's a link:

Since you asked the question 2 weeks ago and got no response, I'm guessing you probably already answered your own question, though.....

Erik

Thanks for the response! Pretty much gave up on this thread, was not sure if I asked the question proper. I will take a look at the Kowa.

You should buy the 120 super scope the blue-eyed bear is selling for $1200.00 on this very site.
That is a hell of a deal on a super scope...
