Spotting Scope Stand

Curious what others are using for a shooting bench clamp for spotting scopes. I presently have a tripod type now but would like to have the clamp on type. C clamp, rod and pivot head type.


What brand and type would you recommend? I do not want to spend a lot of money but jut one that is very stable and secure with a height that I could just turn my head at the bench and look through the scope

I made my own with a pipe clamp and parts from a tripod I got at a garage sale and a block of aluminum. I kept the pipe long so I could use it when shooting pistol standing.

Sinclaire makes a ver nice table clamping system. BUT the pipe is too short. My bench is 7" from top to bottom and with an 18" pipe I was stuck with 11" of elevation. Shopped ebarf and found a 24" pipe, seithced it out and now I don't have to bend over to look through anything. But the sinclair is nice. I used to use a Doolies Doozy cantilevered stand. Goes up and over and the scope hangs in place. But I don't use it now. Trying to sell it, but I guess it's dated and since there were only 125 or so built not well known.
