Sportsman Warehouse Gift Cards

FYI everyone.
Sportsman Warehouse is selling gift cards but will only accept them until March 31st.
I had received one that was bought on the 23rd and was told they will only redeem them until the 31st.
They don't have anything on the shelf but maybe you can by some underwear or something.

Why did Sportsmans Warehouse open up,just to close down most of there stores 6 months later ?

I rushed out and redeemed the one I got for Christmas a week or so ago. I'm glad I did. They acted like everything was business as usual. The store I went to have bare shelves in the ammo/reloading section but a LOT of shotshells, fishing equipment and apparel. They are going to have to have a fire sale soon.

I don't know the particulars for all stores, but I was told buy a gal at the Vancouver WA. store that they were bought out by a Canadian company. She said the big wigs toured the store and told them to get to ordering some product to get the shelves stocked.
Hopefully they will have some more stuff soon.

Yes, some of the stores were bought by these Canadians and supposedly they are going to get them up and running. I don't know if they are going to be on COD with all the vendors or what now. I think this only applies to the stores in WA, MT, northern ID and norther OR.

The canadian's were supposed to buy the store but backed out due to the economic crisis. They are selling and closing 25 stores and are going to re-open 4 or 5 of the better stores including OKC. They basically had to have a liquidation to pay off debts. If I read the article right they owe Federal $8,000.000.00, Browning $5,000.000.00 and several others to a total of about $90,000.00. I hope they really open the store back up in OKC as they are a lot better store for reloaders than Bass Pro with a lot better variety of powders and such. Plus my son works there and a job's a job!
