Spidey Likes Powder Too!

Cleaning off the charging bench this morning i noticed in a little open box a Spider had built a web. the web had
"captured " several kernals of powder and Spidey was having his way with one! I let him at it - when i last checked in with him he wasnt on a kernal but he was clearly guarding his cache. everybodies guarding their powder these days!!!

Edit:::Well unfortuneately I found Spidey dead in his Web the day after these pics were taken. Dont know wat happened to him unless it was gunpowder poisoning

i usually dont bother the spiders when i see them in the shop. lots of different kinds, Im sure they do help with the other bugs.

Well they say there are over 45,000 different types so it's a huge task.
I wonder how many haven't even been discovered yet.

Hour glass is for Black Widows. Def not a BeeDub. Their body is bigger and pea shaped.

The Brown Recluse has a fiddle on the back. I can't say as I've ever seen one, their range stops about 100 miles north. However, my wife did get bitten by one. She had the bullseye bite mark and eventually lost a chunk of skin despite antibiotics. We hadn't been anywhere near their range. The Dr. said they hitchhike and she likely was an accidental victim.

My bad. Fiddle. Old brain fart. I worked with a plumber that was bitten by one. He almost died.
