I have a McMillan Kestros purchased from another member here a while back and it’s evident I’m not going to get around to using it. It’s inlet for a single-shot SA 700 clone, 1.250” barrel, has adjustable cheek, and 3-way adjustable butt. Has molded-in green/grey marbling that is quite attractive.
There is one chip on the left side of the stock seen in the photos, and the previous owner opened up the inlet from the bottom to be able to remove a trigger hanger without taking it out of the stock. There is an area on front of the trigger guard cutout that looks like he may have bumped it when opening it up. The previous owner stated McMillan would clean up the inletting and repair the chip for a nominal fee, but I didn’t think I would need to have it done to suit me. Otherwise looks to be in good shape. I’ve never put an action in it, but my build is put on hold for the foreseeable future.
Spec’ing this stock on McMillans webpage looks like it would cost over $1400.
$850+actual shipping/insurance and I can throw in a BAT ADL trigger guard I had purchased for it. I will take check, MO, or approved electronic payment.
