Teflon is good, but UHMW is a little slicker and cheaper if you go to a plastic supply.

Strangely enough, I just bought some from Benchrite.com, and the packaging said "UHMW" right on it.

Update. This product is no good for my application. To thick, won't wrap around the stock easily.

I found some 3" rolls, thin enough to easily wrap the butt and the 90deg angled aluminum rails on a Kestros ZR. Really glides well against 3M slick bags. I thought I bought it off Amazon but I will dig out the roll and see if I can find a manufacturer/distributor. It is a 10-15ft roll and was very reasonably priced IIRC.

No obsession here. Just want no jerky. Smooth with alittle resistance ok. Mike

Good old leather and bag wax will get ya what you are looking for...

The uhmw tape works well on clear coated stocks....

For grins and giggles, try using plain finished leather and rub a little HBN on it.
