Sonic Ripple Bullet

jvw2008

Lose the Second and we lose them all.
Bryan - Back in April 2013 there was a bulletin discussing Berger's intention to release the sonic ripple design bullet later that year. I haven't heard anything on the subject recently and Berger tech service was unable to provide an answer. What is the status of this project?

Thanx,
Jerry

Ha Ha Ha - the joke is on me! :D. I was embarrassed to find this out a few minutes ago (thanx Ledd Slinger), but now I'm giggling because the joke is still working. What's really funny is I searched all over the forum, talked to a shooter sponsored by Berger, AND got an email back from Berger Tech saying "I don't know - ask Bryan on the forum". Hmmm - think I'm going to quiz those tech guys a little more closely next time.

Jerry

Maybe I should change my forum name to sonic ripple ::)

I use to send guys like you two to get me a Bucket of steam from the Boiler room! LOL ;D

Id go looking for it everytime.
Easy way to burn a couple of hours on the clock.

If getting tricked by a rocket scientist is the most embarrassing thing to happen to me today, im doing alright.

There was also the story of the bullets with dimples like golf balls.... 8)

Anyone know where to get the keys to the sea-chest, a can of bulkhead remover or a MM Punch?

When you get those bullets, I have a great snipe hunting place in upstate PA. We can use them instead of burlap bags.

We used to send the "problem children" to the Lt's office for the Brass-Magnet. This was code for the Lt to get them back to the classroom for more basic marksmanship instruction. Getting these Cadets off the Firing line allowed us to concentrate on the shooters who would qualify on the first try.

How do they shoot, have you tried any at long range?

Joe Salt

I have not shot any because they are too rare.

But they have a fairly blunt nose (Semi-point), so I would think the BC would be in the range of 0.190-ish.
