If I thought I needed a strategy to protect myself from a vendor, I would not purchase from that vendor.Well posting about stuff like this and who the seller is definitely helps folks know other folks experiences with them. However for those that did do the purchase and find themselves in this situation....
"does not give refunds" << that's why you use a CC from a company that will take care of you. I have one that if the seller wants to be a pita, they simply refund my charge and deal with it themselves. Obviously I need to have proof, but they aren't difficult to satisfy. I'm talking goods, not services.
Usually this is something I never got and shipping shows either never actually shipped or never delivered, but a couple times it was stuff that I got and had issues then the seller didn't want to make it right. I get that refusal to exchange or refund in writing then ask my cc vendor to deal with it. They simply view it as a bad charge or failure to perform on warranty. CC vendors are like anything else, there's good and bad, and then there's really good ones. I have a love and hate relationship with the one I'm referring to, but they always take care of bogus or failed purchases.
