If I am able to get these to post, here are some photos from SS XXXIX.
George Carter - Winner of last year's SS
Brady Knight feeds a motley crew.
David Hudson shoots his first ever BR match at the SS (and finished 84th in the 2-gun).
Two weeks before the SS, David had never loaded a cartridge or fired a BR rifle. He borrowed a rifle from Richard Milton (shown giving instruction). His first 100 yard group was a .155 and his second a .165. His first 200 yard group was a .240.
Skip Gordon (standing) came up with the idea of a money shoot (i.e. Super Shoot), and there are three men who have made all 39 shoots. They are (l-to-r) George Kelbly, Sr., Stan Buchtel, and Bob White.
Bob Scarbrough, Jr. tries on his newly acquired HOF jacket
Shock and Awe (Wayne Campbell, Billy Stevens, Andy Shifflett, and Bart Sauter win the 4-man competition. (Jack Neary in back).
