Some fresh builds leaving the shop soon....

Wow! Beautiful work Alex...mine might not be as pretty, but the 6CM you built for me is a shooter. This was a seating depth test...
RL17. Shot my best 10-shot group ever with that powder. Slightly larger than a dime but easily covered with a nickel. Ruger RPR, Hornady 108, Hornady 6mmCM brass, Fed GMLR. Still have 1 unopened 8# can.

No kidding, the 100 yard groups are amazing. I hope I don't regret changing to H4350; I'm hoping for lower ES...and better weather

That whole thing started when Roy sent pictures and I noticed the boards in the back! He put the guy on the phone with me to pay the man, as the shit is spendy lol.

I can't wait for Shawn and Glenn to pack it to the line so I can shoot it!

Ziricote is beautiful wood! I had a custom long bow made with it about 20 years ago. I built a rifle stock with bacote 10 years ago. As with a lot of woods, they darken with age. I can’t barely make out the black stripes in the ziricote now days.

A public thank you to both Alex and Roy for quite possibly one of the most beautiful prarie dog rifles ever built. I have no doubt that it will be even better in person. Neither one of you knew me from Adam. I am not active here on the forums, I’ve never shot a competitive match in my life, yet you both treated me like you cared about my project from day 1. It did not go unnoticed, and it will not be forgotten.

It was great working with you as well!

Roy Hunter
Beautiful rifles!!!!!!
How can I get in touch with Roy? I have access to hedge (Osage Orange, bow wood) which is more dense and rigid than walnut and has unique grain structure and colors. Hedge is very hard on tooling to cut and contour. Running a 12" chainsaw require frequent sharpening of the chains!

I have an exceptionally built REM 700 VLS that is stamped one year earlier than the 1st year of production. It is either a prototype, a sales and show rifle, or 1st production test run rifle!! Solid bolt, very little play!! "E" prefix serial number. Same receiver stamp used on REM "Police Specials"!!!! Deadly accurate when new!!! The barrel is burning out!!! Thinking about faster twist 22-250 or 6mm International!!! Still have 500, new nickel plated Remington 22-250 cases!!!

I would like you, Eric to do the smith work to bring it all together. I live in Kansas, but shoot dogs in Wyoming!! I also help local farmers/ranchers with predator problems using my custom built 25-06 (Springfield 03A3 action, 26" Palma contour Air gauge barrel, Fagen Deluxe XXX Walnut thumbhole stock with Rosewood, multi line, forearm accent). Yotes at 600 yards get rolled a couple times if they stay still for 10 seconds or longer!!!

aim small
HIT BIG!!!!
