Some experience with light bullet in the 7 mm SAUM.

Good Morning:

Some experience with light bullet in the 7 mm SAUM.

I'm looking for a super precise bullet for short distances; I would use it for 300 meter competitions.

What do you recommend:

150 GR OTM Scenar L BC1 526
160 GR. SIERRA TIPPED MATCHKING (TMK) BC1 600
168 GR. BERGER VLD Target BC 1 628

Currently for 600/900 yards use scenar 180L BC 661. With good results.

Thank you.

If you really mean light weight bullets for the 7 mm SAUM those are not it.
I shoot the 120 Ballistic tips for varmints in mine and they are very accurate to 300 yards..

I've had very good success with the Berger 168 hunting VLDs in a 9 twist. H-4831sc, BR2 primer,
+.010 @ 3045. Never shot any targets inside 500 yards though.
