Solid copper solid tipped 55 grain bullets

I have 700 of these solid copper bullets and am considering selling them if?

The reason why is I am worried about how they will perform on Coyotes. I know Im asking about coyotes and where I live a pass through is not a concern but I do like the animal to die fairly quickly. Do these bullets do that on this thin skinned of an animal or just stick to the others that work great for this application. The bullets shoot awesome but I do not shoot to wound I shoot to kill.

Very Respectfully Submitted

I think you should use something different. A Ballistic Tip or Soft Point. I am betting that the solid copper would pass through, unless you hit right in the shoulders.

Fill up a few milk jugs with water, line 'em and see what the results are.

Everything else is speculation......

May I ask what powder and charge you used and with what gun and barrel twist? I'm trying to get them to shoot well but have been quite unsuccessfull. I also bought these for ground squirrels and coyotes at short range. While they do not open up, as long as you have solid velocity, hydrostatic shock will do much damage, similar or same as FMJ. Somewhat limited application for critters.
